My Story

I am a mother with a small home business creating unique crochet items. I pour my heart into every stitch. The joy I feel while crocheting is the same joy I aim to bring to those who receive my handmade treasures.

One of a Kind Crochet was born out of a necessity to find something positive that I could accomplish, despite my limiting health conditions. Having been diagnosed in 2021 with several autoimmune diseases, my life changed from being on the go, active, and busy to a much slower pace.

However, with any challenge in life, I've found there are ways to turn a negative into a positive. The slower pace allowed me to focus on what matters most: my faith and my family. My faith in God has sustained me, knowing that the end of my story is settled, allowing me to make the most out of every moment I can. I see life with different eyes now. In the midst of this, I found crochet as a new way to love those closest to me, and it is very fulfilling!

One day someone said, “You should open a shop and sell these!” So, I did just that. As I continue to learn and grow in this beautiful yarn craft, I hope to add more creations here! I have SO many things I want to make!
